Research Assistance

The Nursing Research Program of Jewish Hospital is grounded in the belief that research is an integral component of professional nursing practice. Our Nursing Research Council promotes and oversees nursing research activities and the integration of research into practice.

Educational Loan Opportunities

We offer financial assistance to aid in the completion of RN education (ASN or BSN) at the school of your choice, with the opportunity to participate in an Extern program during the summer prior to graduation.

Summer Extern Program

Our summer extern program is an 8-week paid program the summer before graduation designed to enhance clinical and organizational skills, as well as time management. Nursing students can earn college credit by working with an RN completing assessments, performing treatments and procedures, giving meds and charting in areas including Med-Surg, ICU, Intermediate, ER, Surgery or Rehab. Upon completion, students can continue in a part-time position with benefits or a pool position—and they receive priority placement upon RN graduation.
