  • Breakthrough Treatments - Our team members have the opportunity to play a role in the ever-expanding list of breakthrough treatments and procedures we’re performing every day. We performed the nation’s first successful human hand transplant and the first AbioCor® Implantable Replacement Heart implant. We did one the world’s first wrist allograft transplants, as well as the world’s first APTIS Medical implantable total distal radioulnar joint prosthesis. We’re one of a handful of U.S. hospitals to receive Ventricular Assist Device (VADS) certification. We perform Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) providing cardiac and respiratory support to patients with lung diseases. And the list goes on!
